Two Morgan County Residents Injured
Two Morgan County residents were injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Monday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 1995 Ford F-250, driven by 23-year-old Barry L. Zimmerman of Versailles, was stopped partially in the westbound lanes of Missouri 52, 813 feet east of Old Route YY (between Stover and Versailles) around 5:30 p.m., when a westbound 2002 Chevy Blazer, driven by a 17-year-old juvenile from Stover, struck the rear of the Ford. The Chevy then traveled off the left side of the roadway. The Ford traveled off the right side of the roadway.
The juvenile had minor injuries, while Zimmerman suffered moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach for treatment.
The juvenile received medical treatment on scene.
The Ford had moderate damage, while the Chevy was totaled.
