Two People Injured in Head-on Collision in Pettis County
Two people were injured in a two-car crash that occurred in Pettis County Thursday morning.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 61-year-old Gerald R. Moore of Sedalia was driving a 2015 Ford F-250 northbound on Highway T at Prairie Chapel Road at 6:43 a.m., when a southbound 2005 Volkswagen Jetta driven by 19-year-old Trenton Rob of Sweet Springs crossed the center line and struck the Ford head on.
Moore suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by EMS.
Rob was transported to Research Medical by EMS with serious injuries.
Moore was wearing a safety device, while Rob was not, the report noted.
Both vehicles had extensive damage and towed by Don's Truck Towing.
Pettis County deputies assisted the five Troopers on scene.
