On Wednesday (Nov 29), two Sedalia residents were arrested for drug-related offences after detectives with the Mid-Missouri Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force and Pettis County Sheriff's deputies served a narcotic search warrant in the 1000 block of E. 10th Street.

According to a press release from the Pettis County Sheriff's Department, after making entry into the residence officers made contact with four adults.

Law enforcement reportedly located heroin, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and packaging material.

David Harold Wirtz and Donna Wirtz, both of Sedalia, were arrested for multiple drug offences.

David Wirtz was arrested for Possession of Heroin, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession with the Intent to Distribute, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Donna Wirtz was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of a Controlled Substance (pain pills).

David and Donna Wirtz were both placed on a 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail.
