On Monday, June 26 at approximately 1:09 p.m., Detectives with the Sedalia Police Department's Crime Resolution Unit, Criminal Investigations Bureau and Mid Missouri Drug Task Force responded to 2026 E 6th Street to serve a drug-related search warrant.

Upon arrival, entry was made and five adult subjects were taken into custody. A search of the residence was conducted and a substantial amount of methamphetamine and psilocybin mushrooms were located.

At the conclusion of the investigation, one subject was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was placed on a 24-hour hold.

31-year-old David G. Williams, is facing charges of 1st degree Trafficking of Drugs, two counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, and three counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance.
