Two Sedalians were injured Thursday afternoon in a one-vehicle accident in Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that 52-year-old Timothy E. Holland of Sedalia was the driver of an eastbound 2003 Nissan Pathfinder on Schondelmaier Road and Hazel Hill Road (in northern Pettis County) at 4:35 p.m., when he crested a hill, observed a traffic hazard, swerved and overcorrected. The Nissan skidded, struck a ditch, went airborne and came to rest on a fence.

Holland suffered minor injuries and was transported by private party to Bothwell Regional Health Center.

His passenger, 54-year-old Sherry G. Rose of Sedalia, suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Bothwell by PCAD.

Neither were wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, the Patrol reported.

The Pathfinder had moderate damage and was towed by Don's Truck Towing.
