Two Versailles Men Injured in Morgan County Rollover
Two Versailles men were injured in a one-vehicle rollover that occurred Monday night in Morgan County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 22-year-old Adam G. Guinn of Versailles was the driver of a northbound 2006 Ford F-350 on Route J, 37 feet south of Tierra Lane at 9:50 p.m. Monday night, when the driver attempted to pass another vehicle and traveled off the left side of the roadway, overcorrected and ran off the left side of the roadway again, overturned and struck several trees.
Guinn suffered moderate injuries and was transported by Mid-Mo Ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment. His passenger, 22-year-old Cory A. Weicken of Versailles, suffered serious injuries and was transported by MU Care to University Hospital.
Neither were wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report.
The Ford was totaled and towed.
Morgan County deputies assisted the Patrol at the scene.
