Urich Women Injured in Rear-end Collision in Henry County

Two Urich women were injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Tuesday evening in Henry County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 2000 Dodge and a 2020 Toyota were both northbound on Missouri 7 at Route DD at 7:40 p.m., when the Dodge slowed to make a turn and was struck in the rear by the Toyota.

The Dodge was driven by 23-year-old Tristan W. Kirk of Urich. His passenger, 20-year-old Aili T. Kirk of Urich, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Research Hospital by Golden Valley EMS.

The Toyota was driven by 43-year-old Kristi L. Wheeler of Urich. She suffered moderate injuries and was also transported to Research Hospital by Golden Valley EMS. She was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report.

The Dodge had minor damage, while the Toyota was totaled.
