
Warrensburg Man Arrested for DWI After Rollover Crash in Johnson County
A 21-year-old man from Whiteman Air Force Base was arrested for C & I driving and DWI after a one-car rollover crash that occurred Sunday in Johnson County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 21-year-old Tanner D. Attaway of Warrensburg was the driver of an eastbound 2016 Mazda MX-5 on Division Road, west of NW 151 Road in Johnson County at 12:08 a.m., when the driver lost control and slid on loose gravel, traveled off the north side of the roadway and struck a fence, then struck the ground and overturned.
Attaway and his passenger, 24-year-old Dakota W. Ralle of Pleasanton, Kansas, suffered moderate injuries and were transported by PCAD to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment.
Attaway was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, the report said.
The Mazda was totaled and towed from the scene.
Attaway was later arrested by the Patrol at 12:26 a.m. and charged with careless and imprudent driving resulting in a crash, driving while intoxicated and no seat belt.
