A Warrensburg man was arrested after plowing through a roundabout east of Warrensburg in Johnson County Friday night.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 59-year-old Terry W. Estes of Warrensburg was the driver of a northbound 2008 Chevy 2500 on Missouri 13 at the Highway DD Roundabout at 10:18 p.m., when Estes failed to negotiate the roundabout, struck a curb, traveled into the roundabout median and struck a yield sign. He went on to strike several curbs and came to rest off the west side of the roadway, north of the roundabout.

Estes, who was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, suffered moderate injuries and was transported by JCAD to Centerpoint Hospital for treatment.

The Chevy was totaled.

Estes was arrested at 10:43 p.m. and charged with DWI, no seat belt and failure to maintain his vehicle on the right side of the roadway.
