Warrensburg Woman Arrested for DWI After Crash

A Warrensburg woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Monday morning in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2018 Kia, driven by 25-year-old Cassandra M. Thomas of Warrensburg, was on Highway 50 at NW 1601 Road at 2:37 a.m., when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck several concrete posts, then a building.

Thomas suffered minor injuries and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center.

The Kia was totaled.

Thomas was later arrested by the Patrol for driving while intoxicated at 3:02 a.m.
