Warrensburg Woman Injured in Johnson County Wreck

A Warrensburg woman was moderately injured in a two-vehicle wreck that occurred in Johnson County Thursday evening.

According to the MSHP, an eastbound 2004 GMC Suburban driven by 49-year-old Ronald J. Smith of Warrensburg traveled into the path of a northbound 2018 Dodge Journey driven by 59-year-old Dorothy M. Lawrence of Warrensburg at 7:06 p.m. on Business 13 and Highway BB.

The vehicles collided and Lawrence suffered moderate injuries. She was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by PCAD for treatment. Both drivers were wearing a safety device.

The Journey had moderate damage while the Suburban had minor damage.
