Warrensburg Woman Totals Car After Swerving to Avoid Deer
A Warrensburg woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred in Johnson County Tuesday night.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 21-year-old Emily R. Sanders of Warrensburg was the driver of an eastbound 2006 Honda on US 50, 1668 feet west of Missouri 13 at 10:41 p.m., when the driver swerved to avoid hitting a deer in the roadway. The vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a utility pole.
Sanders suffered minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene.
Her Honda was totaled and towed by Tip Top Towing.
