Warsaw Couple Injured When Motorcycle Overturns

A Warsaw couple was injured in a motorcycle crash in Benton County on Monday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2006 Harley Davidson, driven by 53-year-old Richard A. Richardson of Warsaw, was on Golf Road at Truman Road around 5 p.m., when he failed to stop at an intersection and traveled off the roadway and overturned.

Both Richardson and his occupant, 50-year-old Katrina A. Moore of Warsaw, were ejected from the bike.

Richardson was transported by Life Flight to University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries, while Moore suffered moderate injuries, and refused treatment on scene.

The motorcycle had moderate damage.
