Warsaw Man Injured In Crash With 18-wheeler
A Warsaw man was injured after pulling out in front of an 18-wheeler Tuesday afternoon in Pettis County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 76-year-old Gerald F. Scheib of Warsaw was the driver of a northbound 2000 BMW that was attempting to pull onto US Highway 65 from Honda Road at 1 p.m. when he pulled into the path of an eastbound 2020 Peterbilt driven by 26-year-old Lonnie D. Miller of Halfway.
The Peterbilt struck the driver's side door of the BMW. Scheib suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by PCAD.
The Peterbilt had minor damage, while the BMW had extensive damage and was towed by Don's Truck Towing.
