A Warsaw teen was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Thursday afternoon in Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2013 Nissan Sentra, driven by a 17-year-old male from Warsaw, was on US 65 at Highway F around 12:30 p.m., when the vehicle hydroplaned on standing water in the roadway, causing it to slide off the road and overturn in a flooded ditch.

Injured was his passenger, a 16-year-old female from Warsaw.

She was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center by PCAD for treatment of minor injuries.

The Nissan was totaled and towed by InMotion.

Pettis County Deputies assisted the Patrol.
