Warsaw Woman Injured In Driveway

A Warsaw woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Friday afternoon in Benton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 2000 Buick LaSabre, driven by 94-year-old Earl Jones of Warsaw, was parked in the driveway of a residence at 23909 Landon Street at 3:48 p.m., when the accelerator got stuck under the carpet and the Buick drove forward, striking the residence.

78-year-old Goldie Hatch of Warsaw, suffered moderate injuries, but refused medical treatment.

The Buick had moderate damage.
