May 10, 2013 Okay, the snow in May was enough. I've never hunted turkeys in snow like that. What fun it was, 33 degree cold, wet, windy and on the last week of turkey season. One good thing about the weather is that it seems to be getting better and starting to get back to normal. Of course, this is Missouri, so you will have to "Show-Me."

MoKids Outdoors Hosting “Fishin’ For a Cure” at Liberty Park Next Weekend
May 3, 2013 Okay, I'm not going to give the weather any more chances. It was 80. Then it was in the 30s. I'm going to boycott the weather, because when the shorts come out, they stay out.
The last week of turkey season was a little tough, for me anyway. Crappie are being caught and people are finding mushrooms. The time is upon us and that makes me happy happy happy.
Preparing for the Cattle Dog Finals with Behka
May 2, 2013 Kids, this weekend is going to bring something unusual and exciting for me. I'm going to be doing a live broadcast from the National Cattle Dog Finals in Leeton. This is going to be a great time, filled with the best of the best when it comes to the USBCHA trained dogs. So me being me, I've decided to do some preparatory work.
Over $4,000 Raised for Relay For Life at Bear Auction
April 28, 2013 Team Happy Feet held their bear auction and dinner on Saturday night (April 27) at the Best Western. There were more bears donated than what the team thought they would receive and were pleased with the amount of people that themed their bears and cleaned them up to go to the Relay For Life. The auction was conducted by John Dick's Auction Service. In total over $4,000 was raised for Team Happy Feet, and they thank all those donated, participated with the dinner, bear auction and silent auction.
