Sedalia’s Weekend Events – Weekend of March 21
Here's a look at some of our goings on this weekend.
Epicenter, a new monthly youth program will meet on Friday.
They'll meet at The Salvation Army of Sedalia, will be held Friday, Friday, March 21st, beginning at 6:00pm. Youth 10 years and older are invited to enjoy free dinner and games. Please call 660-826-1525 for more information.
Smithton 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament will take place on Saturday, March 22 in Smithton.
It’s for ages 3rd Grade through High School, boys and girls. If you'd like to volunteer to help with concessions, referee shifts, or any other capacity, contact John Frazee via email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 660.343.5826. Find them on Facebook by searching Smithton 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament. Proceeds from this tournament go to the Imagine No Malaria project (ImagineNoMalaria.org) to help put an end to this disease.
There will be a Relay for Life fundraiser on Saturday, March 22 at 2:00 pm. at the Community Center, 314 S. Washington, Sedalia, MO.
Come join in playing Basket Bingo where a $10 donation entitles you to a Bingo card and free refreshments. When you get a Bingo you may choose from baskets and prizes that have been donated by area business and friends. If you bring a basket valued at $10 or more, you will receive a free Bingo card. There will also be a silent auction. All money raised goes directly to Relay for Life.
It’ll be held on Saturday, March 22 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A free will offering brisket dinner with baked beans, potato salad, cole slaw, and brownie/ice cream dessert Signed basketballs from members of the UCM Mules, Jennies, and SFCC Roadrunners will be offered by silent auction. This is a fund raiser to replace the 60-year old church boiler. Come and enjoy, give what you are able, and if you are short of cash, the meal is on us.
