Last Friday (March 28), the '80s were back at Dukes & Boots in Sedalia as Members Only took the stage. Billed as the nation's premiere '80s tribute band, they didn't disappoint.

Whether it's farming, hunting, fishing or just being outdoors. So when the work is over and you want to have a good time, which local country bar do you prefer?
It's getting to be that time of year again when we all start looking ahead and planning our Christmas shopping. You have to figure out what you're getting for friends, family, the co-workers you actually like, your hairdresser, the guy who does your lawn, etc. I know it's a lot to juggle, but I'd like to recommend one more purchase to your list: a new bicycle for a less fortunate child in our area
Dukes & Boots in Sedalia was the place to be this Halloween. I was there doing a live broadcast for the Halloween party and costume contest, and man, was it amazing.
A lot of people are doing some amazing "homegrown" grassroots efforts to help the victims of the Oklahoma tornado disaster. We have been bringing you the ones we know of on the air to help with the cause.
The St. Patrick's Day party at Dukes & Boots was my final party appearance for KIX 105.7. There were a lot of people dressed in green and pitchers of green beer flowed. I made sure to have a large helping of the corned beef and cabbage special too.

There will be plenty to do in Sedalia for St. Patrick's Day. Most places are observing the day everyone is Irish on Saturday the 16th. It all starts with a parade.
Thom Shepherd, Wynn Varble and Coley McCabe put on a great show out at Dukes & Boots on Wednesday, Jan. 30. Not only did we get to enjoy some Nashville country classics, but we were able to raise $1431 to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital with the auction at the show.
