Authorities say a "large amount" of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, marijuana and packaging materials were found on September 22 when deputies with the Pettis County Sheriff's Office, Mid-Missouri Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force and Missouri State Highway Patrol executed a search warrant in the 700 block of E. 4th St. in Sedalia.

According to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office, three people, all of Sedalia, were arrested.

Lachelle Rene Flores was arrested on an active Sedalia Police Department warrant.

Justin R. Bales was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession with the intent to distribute, distribution within 2000 feet of a school zone, unlawful use of a weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jose Portillo was arrested for second degree trafficking of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession with the intent to distribute, distribution within 2000 feet of a school zone and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bales and Portillo were taken to the Pettis County Jail, pending formal charges from the Pettis County Prosecutor.
