
2 Sedalia Residents Arrested on Weapons-Related Offences
Just before 2:00 Wednesday morning (Nov 1), Sedalia Police responded to the 1000 block of E. 16th Street for a report of a subject with a gun.
Prior to arrival, officers were notified the suspects had left the residence, but a short time later it was reported that a Pettis County deputy had the suspect vehicle stopped.
Police then made contact with the victim, who reported a man and woman had pointed a gun at him. While speaking with the victim, police were notified that a gun was located in the car that had been stopped by the deputy.
According to the report, two suspects were then arrested and taken into custody on multiple weapons-related offences.
23-year old Nicholas Huerta was arrested for Unlawful Possession of a Concealable Weapon, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Armed Criminal Action, and 4th Degree Assault.
19-year old Whitney Martz was arrested for Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Armed Criminal Action, and 4th Degree Assault.
