An accident involving Three Motorcycles injures four-local residents Sunday afternoon

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported an accident on Bothwell State Park Road Sunday afternoon involving three motorcycles. The accident reportedly occurred as the 2004 Suzuki GXS 1300 driven by 30-year-old Scott A. Hehner of Smithton was travelling behind a 2005 Kawasaki ZX10R driven by 23-year-old Caleb D. Miller of Sedalia and a 2007 Harley Davidson Street Glide driven by 27-year-old Jason W. Nichols of Sedalia. The report states Hehner accelerated, and struck the right side of the Miller vehicle, then struck the rear of the Nichols vehicle. The Hehner vehicle and the Nichols vehicle overturned ejecting the driver, and the passenger. Hehner, and the passenger identified as 24-year-old Heather R. Nichols of Sedalia received moderate injuries. Hehner was transported by private vehicle to Bothwell Regional Health Center by private vehicle for treatment. Heather Nichols and Jason Nichols who received minor injuries were taken to Western Missouri Medical Center by private vehicle for treatment of their injuries. Miller reportedly left the scene prior to treatment.

Henry County accident Sunday injures a Clinton woman and a Knob Noster man

Just after 2pm Sunday afternoon 37-year-old Erica M. Hart of Clinton failed to negotiate a curve on Missouri Highway 13 North of Route “N” in Johnson County. The  2002 Chevrolet Hart was driving reportedly travelled off the right side of the roadway where Hart overcorrected, and returned to the roadway, and overturned. Hart suffered serious injuries in the crash, while a passenger, 18-year-old Isaiah C. Singleton of Knob Noster received moderate injuries. Hart was transported to Research Hospital in Kansas City by Air Ambulance, and Singleton was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center by EMS for treatment.

ATV Accident injures a Belton woman in Saline County Saturday evening

At 5:38pm Saturday evening the Missouri State Highway patrol reported an ATV accident at 103 West 4th in Nelson , in Saline County. The accident occurred according to the report as the 1997 Polaris hit a dip in the ground, and ejected the driver, 30-year-old Kristen M. Baar of Belton. Baar suffered serious injuries, and was transported to Fitzgibbons Hospital by EMS for treatment.

Knob Noster woman injured in a Johnson County accident Saturday night

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a rollover accident on US Highway-50 at Route “D” in Johnson County at 9:40 pm Saturday night. The accident reportedly happened according to the report as the driver of a 2012 Toyota Yaris, 30-year-old Sandra L. Marrero of Knob Noster failed to negotiate a curve, and travelled off the roadway. The vehicle then struck an embankment, overturned, and struck a fence. Marrero was transported to Centerpoint Hospital by Johnson County Ambulance for treatment of Moderate injuries.
