Adrian Man Killed in Bates County Rollover

An Adrian man was killed just after midnight Wednesday morning in Bates County in a one-vehicle accident.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2009 Ford Fusion driven by 43-year-old Zackery D. Frazier of Adrian traveled off I-49 through the median, across the southbound lanes, then struck an embankment and overturned at the 143 mile marker.

Frazier, who was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, was pronounced dead at the scene by Bates County Coroner Greg Mullinax.

Bates County deputies assisted the four Troopers at the scene.
