Intoxicated male arrested during a traffic stop early this (Friday) morning

At 3:29am this (Friday) morning Sedalia Police received a call on an intoxicated male subject attempting to drive away from Bothwell Regional Health Center. Upon arrival officers located the vehicle and driver. Arrested at the scene was 54-year-old Daniel Flynn Kennedy of Sedalia. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail pending further action.

45-year-old Sedalia resident arrested for failure to appear Thursday night

Around 7:45pm Thursday night  Sedalia police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle . A subsequent check on the occupants of the vehicle revealed that 45-year-old Aaron C. Blondell of Sedalia had a Sedalia Municipal warrant for failure to appear. He was arrested and transported to the Pettis County jail pending an $88.50 bond.

Sedalia woman reports she is a victim of identity theft

Just after noon on Thursday a female victim in the 2500 block of Southwest Blvd. reported her identity had been stolen by someone who used her name to file a tax return. The woman said she had been in touch with the FBI in Jefferson City about the case, and an investigation is ongoing. There were no suspects at the time of the police report.

Missouri State Highway Patrol reports an accident in Pettis County Thursday

At 7:46pm Thursday night the Missouri State Highway patrol and the Pettis County sheriff’s Department investigated a one-vehicle accident on Route “U” at Sunflower Road. According to the report the accident occurred as the 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser driven by 25-year-old Casey L. Allred of Topeka Kansas travelled off the roadway, struck an embankment, and then went airborne before striking a ravine.  Allred received minor injuries and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by EMS for treatment.
