Warrensburg man arrested for stealing a money order

On Thursday the 19th of February a Sedalia woman filed a theft complaint with the Sedalia Police Department. According to the victim the suspect stole a $150 Money Order belonging to them. The victim was able to give the police information on the suspect, and an investigation led to the arrest of 26-year-old Tyler Clinton Clough of Warrensburg. Clough was transported to the Pettis County jail pending a $533.50 bond on a charge of stealing.

Sedalia man arrested after being caught with railroad ties

Just before 10pm Thursday night Sedalia Police responded to the area of 4th and Emmitt Avenue on a subject check. Upon arrival officers made contact with a subject sitting in a pick-up next to the railroad tracks. The police report states there were 5 railroad ties in the back of the pick-up. The police officers contacted Union Pacific Railroad, and was told the suspect identified as 53-year-old Randall Lynn Rozier of Sedalia was not allowed to have the ties, and they wished to pursue charges. Rozier was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending stealing charges.

Local bar owner reports his credit/debit card is being used fraudulently

On Thursday the owner of the E Street Bar located at 1201 East 3rd reported his debit/credit card had been used online in another state to make purchases. The case is currently being investigated.
