Warrensburg woman taken into custody for stealing at Walmart

According to a Sedalia Police report around 10:30pm Thursday night 26-year-old Desiree Dodgen of Warrensburg was taken into custody at the Walmart Store for stealing. The police report states she was released with a Municipal Summons, and a court date. $26.86 worth of items were reportedly recovered.

Thieves target a vehicle in the 600 block of South Kentucky

At 2:48 this (Friday) morning Sedalia Police responded to the 600 block of South Kentucky on a theft from a motor vehicle complaint. Upon contact with the victim she told the officers someone stole her purse containing a Missouri ID card, a bank card and a food stamp card. Value of the stolen items was placed at $60. There were no suspects
