53-year-old Sedalia woman arrested at Walmart on a theft complaint

Around 7pm Saturday night Sedalia Police responded to the Walmart store on a reported theft complaint. Upon arrival officers arrested 53-year-old Judith Anderson of Sedalia and transported her to the Pettis County where she was placed on 24-hour hold Jail pending state charges.

Theft complaints reported to the Sedalia Police Department

A victim in the 2400 block of West 2nd reported her 40 caliber Taurus Millennium Sub-Contact firearm was stolen from her residence sometime over the past two-weeks. There was no information in the police report on the value of the firearm, or a possible suspect.

At 7pm Saturday night a victim reported the theft of a cell phone to the Sedalia Police. According to the male victim the cell phone was taken from the Golden Corral. There were no suspects.

A wallet was stolen late Sunday night while its owner played basketball at Liberty Park. The victim stated he had laid his valuables on his clothes, and when he returned to them his wallet was gone. According to the victim the wallet contained credit and debit cards, his driver’s license, high school ID, and $6 in cash.
