Sedalia man faces drug related charges following a traffic stop Thursday night

At 7:47 Thursday night Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle at Main and Park with a driver known to have a failure to appear warrant. Following confirmation of the Sedalia Municipal Warrant a search of the vehicle produced marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. The driver 46-year-old Terry Lee Shull of Sedalia was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail pending formal charges.

46-year-old female arrested on a failure to appear warrant

Around 4:20 Thursday afternoon Sedalia Police responded to the 300 block of North Heard on a suspect with a failure to appear warrant out of Sedalia for driving with no operator’s license. Arrested at the scene was 46-year-old Lisa Curry of Sedalia. She was taken to the Pettis County jail pending a bond of $105.

Landlord damages his apartment when the renter refuses to move out

Just after 7:30 Wednesday evening Sedalia Police were dispatched to an apartment in the 1100 block of South Ohio on a disturbance. Upon arrival the victim told the officer the owner of the apartment came to the apartment, and was upset, that he would not move out without being evicted. The owner then tore out a newly installed door and window of the apartment. There was no other information in the police report.

Thefts from several vehicle reported in Sedalia Thursday

Thursday afternoon Sedalia Police took a theft from a motor vehicle complaint from a male victim in the 500 block of South Ohio. According to the victim he accidentally left his rental vehicle unlocked, and someone stole a suitcase filled with clothes and other items. Value of the suitcase and its contents was placed at $1000.

Just before 8am Thursday morning Sedalia Police took a theft from a motor vehicle report from a victim in the 1600 block of West 19th. The victim reported that sometime over night thieves entered two vehicles on their property, and stole a laptop computer, some change, and the owner’s manual for the vehicle.

At 2pm Thursday afternoon thieves reportedly stole several items from a vehicle in the 1200 block of South Barrett.

Just after 9am Thursday morning a victim in the 1100 block of West 10th reported that sometime overnight her vehicle was entered and the faceplate for the stereo was stolen. The thieves also scattered the contents of the glove box on the floor. Value of the faceplate was set at $40.

Breaktime at 808 East Broadway reported the theft of two large bags of ice valued at $9.66.
