Rock falls from a dump truck and strikes a vehicle Monday morning

At 8:03 Monday morning Sedalia Police investigated a property damage complaint in the 500 block of South Carr. According to the caller a rock fell from a dump truck, and caused $150 worth of damage to her vehicle. The police report states an investigation is ongoing into the accident.

Small shed damaged in a fire Tuesday morning in an alley near 7th and Park

Tuesday morning the Sedalia Police responded to a fire in the area of 7th and Park Avenue. Upon arrival officers found a fire in the alleyway along a fence line. The police report states the Sedalia Fire Department arrived and quickly extinguished the fire. The cause of the fire was reportedly a short  in a heat lamp in a dog house. A shed at 1209 Maple Lane received $200 worth of damage from the fire.

$800 window broken out of a residence this (Wednesday) morning

Just after mid-night this (Wednesday) morning a victim reported a window of his residence located in the 500 block of South Grand had a window broken out by a Mountain Dew container. The victim placed a value of $800 on the window. There were no witnesses and no suspects at news time.
