56-year-old Sedalia man arrested for 2nd degree domestic assault Sunday

Around 4am Sunday morning Sedalia Police were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 1300 block of East 14th. Upon arrival the female victim told the officer 56-year-old Lyles L. Clark of Sedalia had punched and choked her. The police report states Clark was arrested during a traffic stop in the area of Broadway and Emmett, and transported to the Pettis County jail. At the time of the police report Clark was on 24-hour hold at the Pettis County Jail on charges of 2nd degree domestic assault, and driving while suspended. Bond on the assault charge has been set at $7500.

Multiple arrests for stealing at Walmart were made over the weekend

Just before 10pm Saturday night 31-year-old Victoria Renna Williams of Sedalia was arrested for stealing from the Walmart Store. Bond was set at $533.50.

Around 8pm Sunday night 19-year-old Judy K. Tatum of Sedalia was arrested for stealing $83 worth of merchandise from the Walmart Store. She was arrested by the Sedalia Police and transported to the Pettis County jail pending a bond of $533.50.

At 3:40 Saturday afternoon Sedalia police arrested 29-year-old Ashley J. Riley of Mora for stealing from the Walmart Store. At the time of the police report she was on 24-hour hold pending charges.

Vehicle stop Saturday night results in arrest for an 18-year-old Sedalia teen

Just after 11pm Saturday night Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle in the 700 block of East Broadway on a traffic violation. A subsequent check on the occupants revealed a passenger, 18-year-old Katelynn Marie Kilgore of Sedalia had an active failure to appear warrant out of Henry County with a $250 cash only bond.

Police take custody of a Warsaw man with a warrant from Benton County law enforcement

Just after 2am Sunday morning Sedalia police were dispatched to the Benton County Line on a prisoner transfer. Upon arrival officers took custody of 33-year-old Michael R. Fritchey of Warsaw, and transported him to the Pettis County Jail pending a $206.80 bond for failure to appear on a Sedalia Municipal warrant.
Thieves force entry to a store at 2700 West Broadway and steal $1600 in merchandise

At 11:19am Sunday morning Sedalia Police responded to a burglary not in progress at a business in the 2700 block of West Broadway. Upon arrival the owner told the officers sometime overnight thieves forced entry to the store, and stole $1600 in merchandise. There were no suspects at the time of the police report.

Suspect known to the victim steals items from her home

Early this (Monday) morning a female victim in the 900 block of Winchester Drive reported $150 worth of prescription medication and personal hygiene items were stolen from her by a person she knows. There was no other information available in that incident.

Dollar General on East Broadway reports a theft

On Sunday management at the Dollar General located at 713 East Broadway reported a female juvenile stole 2-packages of makeup from the store, that was valued at $14. There was no further information on the suspect.
Casey’s at 3050 South Limit reported an $18 gas drive off just after 5pm Saturday evening.
