19-year-old Sedalia man arrested for assault Wednesday night

Just after 9pm Wednesday night Sedalia Police were dispatched to a disturbance at a residence in the 2400 block of Bristol Lane. The police report states the father of a female called the police to report a call to his daughter was interrupted by a disturbance, and he could not get in touch with her. Upon arrival the female victim told officers a suspect had hit her. Officers located the suspect identified as 19-year-old Luis M. Aguilar of Sedalia, and he admitted there was a physical altercation with the victim. Aguilar was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a $533.50 bond on a charge of assault.

Sedalia Police issue a trespass summons and warning to a suspect Wednesday

Around 2pm Wednesday afternoon Sedalia police were dispatched to a residence in the 500 block of East 5th on a reported trespassing. Upon arrival the complainant reported a suspect had been at the residence around 5:30 that morning, and then returned around 2pm, and turned the door knob. The victim said she was scared and called the police. The suspect left prior to the arrival of officers, but was located in the area. The un-named suspect was reportedly issued a summons for trespassing, and a trespass warning.

Thieves target vehicles on South Garfield this (Thursday) morning

At 9:04 this (Thursday) morning Sedalia Police took a theft from a motor vehicle complaint in the 1000 block of South Garfield. According to the complainant two-vehicles belonging to her and her husband were entered sometime overnight while they were parked in their driveway. The police report states unspecified items were taken from one of the vehicle. There was no information on possible suspects at the time of the police report.

Miscellaneous

Wednesday evening a woman in the 800 block of West 11th reported 4-young white males broke a window out of her garage.

A bike was stolen from a residence in the 400 block of North Summit between the hours of 7am and 8am on Wednesday.

Wednesday afternoon prescription medication was found in the 100 block of East Broadway. The medication was turned into the police for destruction.

A wallet was found in the roadway at 17th and Harrison. The police report states the owner was found, and the wallet was returned.
