Local business employees confront a thief

At 11:42 Monday morning Sedalia Police were dispatched to Orschlens at 2424 South Limit on a theft complaint. Upon arrival the officers learned store personnel had retrieved $129.70 worth of merchandise from a female suspect they confronted. There was no other information in the police report.

Sedalia man reports thefts from his home in the 700 block of South Lafayette

Sunday afternoon a victim in the 700 block of South Lafayette reported the theft of a Laptop Computer, and a Color Nook from his home. The victim told the Sedalia Police the theft took place sometime after 4am Sunday morning, and 2:30 that afternoon. Value of the stolen items was around $500 according to the victim. There was no information on a possible suspect at the time of the police report.

Thief steals aluminum cans from a man in the 1300 block of South Lamine

Just before noon Monday morning a victim in the 1300 block of South Lamine reported the theft of $30 worth of aluminum cans from his property. There were no suspects at news time.
