37-year-old Sedalia man held on a no-bond Parole Violation Warrant

At 3:37pm Tuesday afternoon Sedalia Police were sent to the Probation and Parole Office at 205 Thompson Road on a suspect with a warrant. Upon arrival the warrant for failure to appear on a parole violation warrant was confirmed. Officers arrested 37-year-old Steven J. Goldacker of Sedalia, and transported him to the Pettis County Jail on the no-bond warrant.

Revoked driver arrested Tuesday evening on Sedalia’s East side

Around 5:20pm Tuesday evening Sedalia Police observed a subject parked on the wrong side of the roadway at 3rd and Marvin putting trash into a dumpster, which he said he had gotten the owner’s permission. A check through dispatch revealed the driver 58-year-old Dusty L. Smith of Sedalia was a revoked driver. He was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail where he was booked and released with a court date on a charge of driving while revoked.

Woman gets a summons for possession of marijuana during a traffic stop

At 9:15pm Tuesday night Sedalia Police observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed in the area of Broadway and Garfield. The police report states the driver was able to elude the officer, but was located and stopped at Emmett and Chestnut by another officer. During the traffic stop a small amount of marijuana was reportedly found in the vehicle. The police report states the driver 26-year-old Amy A. Rios of Sedalia was issued a summons and a court date for possession of marijuana.

Property damage complaint filed Tuesday by a victim in the 400 block of West 10th

Just before 4pm Tuesday afternoon Sedalia Police took a property damage complaint from a female victim in the  400 Block of West 10th. According to the victim sometime overnight someone damaged two window screens on her house. There were no suspects at news time. A damage estimate of $30 was placed on the screens.
