Sedalia Police crime reports 6-27-18

Sedalia Police took a report on Monday from man in the 4100 block of W. Main who said someone stole $70 worth of items from his vehicle while he was inside a business for two hours.


On Monday, Police took a report from a Sedalia man who said someone used his debit card fraudulently in North Carolina to make a $1,003 purchase at an Advanced Auto Parts store. The victim is willing to prosecute.


 

On Monday just after 5 p.m., Casey's General Store, 3500 W. 16th, reported a $62.64 gas drive-off. According to a report, the suspect dove a black Ford Expedition with decals on the windows. Police are currently searching for the suspect.


 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested 50-year-old David N. Hays of Windsor around 10 a.m. Wednesday morning in Benton County. He was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, driving while revoked and failure to register a motor vehicle. Hays was transported to the Benton County Jail, where he was booked and released.
