
Aurora Man Injured in Henry County Crash
An Aurora man was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred late Thursday night in Henry County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 30-year-old Matthew J. Shearer of Aurora, was the driver of a southbound 2016 Toyota on Missouri 7 at Urich at 11:35 p.m., when the vehicle traveled off the roadway, struck a road sign and a tree. The vehicle then overturned on its side.
Shearer was suffered minor injuries, and was transported by Golden Valley EMS to Belton Regional Hospital for treatment. Shearer was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report.
The Toyota was totaled.
