Belle Man Dies in Motorcycle Crash

A Belle man died in a motorcycle crash Friday night in Gasconade County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2005 Yamaha V-STart 650, driven by 37-year-old Emil Jones of Belle, was on Missouri 28, 654 feet west of Myer Road around 10 p.m., when the driver failed to negotiate a curve, and the motorcycle left the roadway, struck an embankment and ejected the driver.

Jones was pronounced dead by Owensville Paramedic Karen Arnold at 10:25 p.m.
