A Blue Springs woman was injured in a three-vehicle accident that occurred Tuesday in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 2008 Nissan Rogue, driven by 21-year-old Grace C. Stansell of Blue Springs, was on US 50 at NW 1501 Road at 4:16 p.m., when she struck the rear of an eastbound 2004 Toyota Tundra, driven by 25-year-old Julia K. Rankin of Warrensburg. The impact caused the Toyota to travel off the left side of the roadway. The Nissan then struck the rear of an eastbound 2001 Chevy Silverado, driven by 46-year-old Jason S. Ford of Holden.

Stansell suffered minor injuries, and refused medical treatment at the scene.

All three drivers were wearing their seat belt at the time of the crash.

The Silverado had minor damage, the Toyota had moderate damage, and the Nissan had extensive damage.
