It was a beautiful summer evening for hundreds of Sedalian's as they lined both sides of Barrett Ave from 9th St. thru 18th St. Families came to see the majestic Budweiser Clydesdale's travel down Barrett Ave. making deliveries to to a few lucky homes on Barrett. A few of the lucky recipients were, The Husk Home, The Tippie Home, The Proctor Home, The Weeler Home, Campbell Home and even our sales manager, Julie Hoffert and her husband Harry had a delivery to there home.

On hand with the deliveries were County Distributing, Paul Beykirch and Joe Beykirch. Posing for photos with the families and of course with the stars of the evening The Budweiser Clydesdales. County Distributing carries Budweiser products and distributes to the surrounding areas. Plus, Kathy Heman won the opportunity to ride on the wagon as they traveled down the street. She won that contest from County Distributing Facebook Page.

The Clydesdale's arrived in three semis in the 1700 block of Barrett Ave., with Joe Beykirch leading the way. As they unloaded the wagon, cleaned and shined it up. Attached the hitches. Then one by one the Clydesdale's were escorted off the haulers onto the street. They were brushed up and then harnessed up and then the next one. You can tell they knew exactly what to do. Once they were all hitched together. It was time. The final touch was added, the dalmation. Off they went to make their deliverys down the road.

When the team of Clydesdale's arrived at 9th St. they were going to make a u-turn. Crowds were moved and slowly the Clydedale's made the turn and they use every bit of the road to succeed.

Dirt Road Addiction also received a stop by the Clydesdale's while they were performing at the intersection of 14th St.

If you were there then you know how it almost felt like an old neighborhood block party. There were BBQ's going everywhere. The Tippie's were giving away free hot dogs. What  a fun evening had by all.
