A Sedalia woman was arrested for 2nd degree burglary and stealing after she was identified from a photo on a phone she left behind at the crime scene.

According to Sedalia Police, a burglary report was taken Sunday at Morgan and Osage. Video surveillance showed the suspects at the scene, and one of them left their phone and a pair of sandals at the scene.

A photo on the phone matched the female suspect on the video. The victim later called police and said the suspect was walking on North Osage, right in front of the burglarized residence.
