California, MO Woman Arrested for Drug Trafficking

Early Friday morning (July 13), Morgan County Sheriff's deputies arrested a 58-year old woman for drug trafficking.

According to a press release from the Morgan County Sheriff's office, deputies conducted a traffic stop around 1:15 a.m. on Highway 50 east of Hwy 5 for a traffic violation.

A consent search of the vehicle reportedly revealed 103 grams of methamphetamine, a small amount of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Deputies arrested 58-year old Jane Suggs, of California, MO, for felony 1st Degree Drug Trafficking and Possession of Marijuana.

Suggs was taken to the Morgan County Jail in lieu of a $300,000 bond.

The Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force assisted with the investigation.
