A Clinton man was injured in a one-vehicle wreck that occurred Tuesday afternoon in Jackson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 2005 Ford was on I-70 at the exit ramp to Woods Chapel at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday when the driver ran off the left side of the roadway and struck an exit sign.

27-year-old Dusty W. Settles of Clinton suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Centerpoint Medical Center by ambulance.

The Ford had moderate damage and was towed from the scene by Jackson County Tow.

Blue Springs Police assisted the Patrol.

Settles was later arrested at 4:55 p.m. and charged with DWI, C & I Driving and Driving While Suspended.
