Clinton Woman Dies in Henry County Accident

A Clinton woman died in a two-vehicle wreck that occurred Monday evening in Henry County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2013 Toyota, driven by 23-year-old Autumn R. Cunningham of Urich, failed to yield to oncoming traffic on Missouri 7 at NW 901 Road at 8:20 p.m. and struck the passenger side of a southbound 2008 Mercedes, driven by 76-year-old Mary J. Cable of Clinton.

The Mercedes overturned and came to rest on the driver's side.

Cable was pronounced dead by Henry County Coroner D. Sisk at 9:04 p.m.

Cunningham had minor injuries, and refused treatment at the scene.

Both vehicles were totaled.

Henry County deputies assisted the Patrol at the scene.
