Clinton Woman Killed in Crash With Kenworth

A Clinton woman was killed in a two-vehicle wreck that occurred Friday, Dec. 13, in Henry County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2019 Kenworth T680 was westbound on Missouri 7 at Golden Drive at 10:31 a.m., when an eastbound 2003 Chevy Impala attempted to make a left turn and traveled into the path of the Kenworth.

82-year-old Betty J. Bigler of Clinton was pronounced dead at Golden Valley Hospital at 11:32 a.m. by Dr. Sorin.

The driver of the Kenworth, 41-year-old Frederick D. Carter of Greenwood, was reportedly uninjured.

The Impala was totaled, while the Kenworth had moderate damage.

Clinton officers assisted the four Patrolmen on the scene.
