Cole Camp Woman Arrested For Drug Trafficking
On Friday at approximately 1:30 a.m., Pettis County Deputies conducted a drug interdiction traffic stop in the area of US 50 Highway and Missouri Highway T.
The stop was made in conjunction with a Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force investigation.
Deputies contacted the driver and sole occupant, 44-year-old Crystol R. Streett, Cole Camp, and attempted to obtain consent for a vehicle search.
Shortly after law enforcement’s search request, Streett fled in her vehicle.
A pursuit was initiated reaching speeds of approximately 95 miles per hour. Stop sticks were deployed by Pettis County Deputies near the west city limits which successfully struck the vehicle’s tires.
However, Streett continued failing to yield to Winchester, south to Y, east to State Fair where Sedalia Police Department successfully deployed a second set of stop sticks, and ultimately east down W. 10th Street where the vehicle came to a stop on its rims.
Streett attempted to flee on foot, but K9 Cav was deployed and apprehended her a short distance later. She was taken into custody.
Between the vehicle search and the amount located on her person after entering the jail, an approximate five ounces of methamphetamine and paraphernalia were seized.
Charges of Trafficking, Resisting Arrest, and Introduction of a Controlled Substance in a Correctional Facility are being sought.
