Driver Tosses Meth Out The Window, Later Arrested for Felony Tampering
On Sunday night, Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of West Broadway Boulevard and South Carr for a moving violation.
The driver of the vehicle allegedly threw an item out of the vehicle, which was later recovered. The item contained marijuana and methamphetamine.
The driver, 27-year-old Jacoby Indiana Gepford of Sedalia, was arrested for felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, felony Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Possession of Marijuana.
A passenger in the vehicle, Aaron Jason Brown, 37, of Warrensburg, was arrested when a computer check revealed he had two active warrants for Failure to Appear.
Both men were transported to the Pettis County Jail.
