Five Injured in Saline County Crash
On Friday, Aug. 30 around 9:56 a.m., Saline County 911 received a call about a motor vehicle accident in the 3000 block of West Arrow (west of Marshall).
Marshall Police, Marshall Fire, Saline County Ambulance, Slater EMS and Saline County Sheriff’s Office responded.
Upon Officer's arrival, they observed a silver passenger car and a black passenger car on the south side of the roadway with extensive damage. The investigation determined a silver passenger car was traveling westbound on Arrow when the vehicle attempted to make a left-hand turn into a driveway and was struck by a black passenger car.
Two persons were flown to University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia for treatment, and three persons were transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene with disabling damage, Marshall Police said.
