
Five Stover Residents Arrested on Drug Charges
Authorities in Morgan County recently arrested five Stover residents on drug charges after officers conducted a saturation patrol.
A press release from the Morgan County Sheriff's Office indicates on Saturday evening (May 18), officers conducted a saturation patrol in the Ivy Bend area of the county. Drug investigations were conducted at 6 separate residences.
Those investigations resulted in 6 citations being issued and 5 felony arrests.
The five suspects arrested include:
23-year old Ashley Yazell, of Stover - Charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. Bond was set at $5,000.00.
22-year old Brandon Smith, of Stover - Charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance. Bond was set at $35,000.00.
57-year old J. Broderick Podalak, of Stover - Charged with Possession of Controlled Substance. Bond was set at $5,000.00.
40-year old Sunshine Powell, of Stover - Charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Bond was set at $5,000.00.
46-year old Preston Powell, of Stover - Charged with Possession of Controlled Substance and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Bond was set at $20,000.00.
