A Fulton teenager was killed in a rollover accident that occurred early Wednesday morning in Osage County.

 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2007 Jeep Wrangler, driven by 20-year-old Nathan L. Timpe of Centralia, was in the 400 block of County Road 807 (southeast of Linn) around 1 a.m., when the Jeep traveled off the right side of the roadway, overturned and struck three trees, ejecting one occupant.

19-year-old Riley M. Pipes of Fulton, was killed and pronounced dead at the scene at 1:15 a.m., by Osage County Coroner AJ Probst. The body was taken to Morton Funeral Home. Pipes was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report.

 

Injured were three passengers in the Jeep, including 18-year-old Branden E. Halter of Cape Girardeau with serious injuries, 20-year-old Jacob Stoner of Congerville, Illinois, with moderate injuries and 20-year-old Kyle R. Burris of St. Peters with minor injuries.

 

Halter was flown to University of Missouri Hospital, Stoner was transported to Capital Regional Medical Center and Burris refused treatment.
