A two-vehicle crash in Benton County injured three Warsaw residents Monday afternoon.

According to the MSHP, a northbound 1993 GMC Sonoma driven by 86-year-old Herbert E. Inman of Warsaw was traveling on Highway 65 when it attempted to turn left onto Hilty Avenue at 1:34 p.m. when a southbound 2014 Toyota Corolla driven by 37-year-old Christina A. Harms of Warsaw struck the Sonoma head-on.

Both drivers suffered moderate injuries and were transported to area hospitals for medical treatment. Inman was taken to university Hospital by air ambulance, while Harms was taken by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance to Golden Valley Hospital. A passenger in the Sonoma, 77-year-old Rose M. Inman, also suffered moderate injuries and was airlifted to University Hospital.

Both vehicles were totaled. Benton County deputies assisted the Patrol at the scene.
