The Missouri State Highway Patrol has reported a double fatality crash that occurred in Osage County on Wednesday.

A 2008 Nissan Sentra driven by 17-year-old Caden J. Haslag of Loose Creek, was traveling north on US 63, one mile south of Highway 50 at 5:08 p.m., when the vehicle crossed the center line and struck a southbound 2019 Kia Optima, driven by 22-year-old Hannah N. McDowell of Rolla.

Both drivers were killed in the crash and pronounced dead at the scene at 6 p.m. by Osage County Coroner Lois Jaegers. Both drivers were wearing their seat belt, according to the report. The bodies were taken to Morton's Family Chapel in Linn.

Both vehicles were totaled.

Osage County deputies assisted the four Troopers at the scene.
